Do you own a Library Card?

If you don't its a must have item to grow yourself mentally, spiritually and physically! Now days you don't even have to physically handle a book with access to a Library Card and the internet you can download audio books for free!

Im currently listening to "Jay Jenkins" on audio so far its a pretty awesome book. Some times you just have to listen to voices you don't agree with and see where they are coming from and how their world shaped their life. I found myself wanting to cry to listening to his speak about heritage in the first 2 chapter of his book.

Since I am in media, TV, and Film this book was so inspiring and on time read. It was a hard cover book. I learned so much from this read about how women not only white women but Black women too were Boss Women owning their creative content and producing master pieces for the mass to watch. It was great looking into the career of Betty White she was an advocate to Black people and learning about HUAC (House of Un-American Committee) it was created in 1938 to investigate alleged disloyalty and rebel activities on the part of private citizens, public employees and organizations suspected of having Communist ties.

A lot of cussing but listening to Viola Davis voice was superb! I would encourage everyone to listen to the life and times of an artist how she made it through insurmountable struggles as a child and a youth. Interesting some of her childhood escapism play is what we young black and gifted always found ourselves doing to survive.
